The Ministries and Outreach office of the Archdiocese of Vancouver invites you to join us at the Catholic Youth Conference! This event is meant for high school youth in grades 8-12 and the adults that are journeying with them as their parish youth ministry leaders, teachers, and mentors. This full-day event will include a keynote speaker, smaller breakout sessions, time for prayer, praise & worship music, food, and opportunities for you to interact with other youth from around our Archdiocese.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Sometimes we feel empty and unmotivated in life, especially with all the darkness that surrounds us. Young people are called by name and ultimately destined to live in the fullness of God himself; they are not simply defined by their role or a category that others put them in. Jesus is calling us all by name because we are “meant for more”. He has a divine plan for each and every one of us. Come, be with Jesus and be open to what God has in store for you.

Spread the word about CYC with our readily available resources!
We are so excited to welcome Paul J. Kim as our keynote speaker for this event! He will talk about the fact that Jesus is alive in His Church and He invites all young people to come to know and experience His merciful and life-changing love via prayer, Scripture, the Sacraments, and in the mysterious ways that God speaks to each of us. Christ said: “I came that they would have life, and have it abundantly” John 10:10. God didn’t create us to be dull, boring, prudish, and miserable… He came to show us that we’re MEANT TO LIVE FOR MORE!
