Catholic Youth Conference (CYC) is meant for high school youth in grades 8-12 and the adults that are journeying with them as their parish youth ministry leaders, teachers, and mentors. This full-day event will include a keynote speaker, smaller breakout sessions, time for prayer, praise & worship music, food, and opportunities for you to interact with other youth from around our Archdiocese.

We are excited to have Maggie Craig with us at CYC this year! She comes from Southern California and has been a speaker at major youth events around the United States as well as numerous high school youth rallies and conferences. She brings her gifts of humour and storytelling which helps to engage her audience while challenging you to go deeper. Maggie also enjoys watching NBA basketball, climbing mountains and consuming breakfast burritos.
This year’s CYC theme is “Anchored” and is based on one of the sub-themes as laid out in the papal bull of the Ordinary Jubilee of the year 2025: “Spes Non Confundit” (“Hope does not disappoint”). More specifically, Pope Francis invites us all to reflect and act on a powerful message of faith, renewal and resilience. When we anchor ourselves in Jesus Christ, we recognize our need for stability, and trust in God, especially in turbulent times in our lives. Come explore the ways we can be anchored in hope and how spiritual growth, joy, and peace are part of your journey.
